Riley Greene becomes the first Detroit Tigers prospect to be number one on MLB Pipeline’s list.
Positional player talent that the Detroit Tigers have drafted or signed on the international side has not been a strong suit. However, it seems like Riley Greene continues to break the mold.
According to the updated MLB Pipeline list, Greene is the new number one prospect. This marks the first time in the list’s history that a Detroit Tigers prospect has been number one.

Since he has been called up, the Tigers are 9-7, so the Greene effect is very much real. Last night, he went 2-for-5 batting leadoff with a pair of doubles and drove in three runs.
