Capcom has released a second trailer for the new Resident Evil game set to drop sometime in 2021. Resident Evil Village is the tenth installment of the series, and will be the follow up to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. RE 8 will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

So. Many. Questions.

Of course, in typical RE fashion, it has us asking a lot of questions. How will Village fit into the Resident Evil world? We noticed that Ethan is in the trailer, and according to sources RE8 is set a few years after RE7, but will he find Mia? Where is she?! Also, WILL LEON SHOW UP OUT OF NOWHERE AND SAVE THE DAY?!

RE8 looks dark, really dark It also shows a giant castle that we can’t wait to explore. The series did things right with RE7 and making it a first person horror game, and from the rumors and trailer it seems RE8 will do the same. RE7 was a perfect reboot of the series and much needed, but the series can be difficult to keep up with. Capcom has a history of going back and forth on the RE timeline, so here’s a video explaining how the series is suppose to be laid out.
