Woodward Sports is excited to put out a weekly power rankings for the NFL. Checkout our Power Rankings heading into Week 12.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (9-1)

Week 11 Ranking: 1

The Chiefs avenged their only loss of the season to division foes – the Raiders. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a thrilling last minute victory with the game-winning touchdown pass to Travis Kelce. The 35-31 victory kept Kansas City in the hunt for the only playoff bye – being only a game back of the Steelers. I’m a bit worried of their recent defensive performances, but they’re still the team to beat in the AFC.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-0)

Week 11 Ranking: 2

The Steelers put together a dominate defensive performance against the awful Jacksonville Jaguars. Yes they’ve played one of the easiest schedules in the league, but that doesn’t take away from their ability to win football games in a variety of ways. The defense is legit – and the tools Big Ben has to work with on offense is some of his best he’s had.

3. Buffalo Bills (7-3)

Week 11 Ranking: 3

The Buffalo Bills are coming off a bye-week – and they’ll stay here at No.3 in our NFL Power Rankings. I think they’re one of the more complete teams in the NFL, and if the defense can find their true colors, this team could be a big problem to any team in the AFC come the Playoffs.

4. New Orleans Saints (8-2)

Week 11 Ranking: 4

Sean Payton – that’s all I really need to say here again. The gameplan with Taysom Hill was simple, short to intermediate passes, limit mistakes and run the football effectively. Hill looked very comfortable at Quarterback and I’m sure he pleased his fantasy owners. The Saints will be fighting for the No.1 Seed in the NFC, and with a 2.5 game lead in their division – the future is bright.

5. Seattle Seahawks (7-3)

Week 11 Ranking: 8

Just when I wanted to write-off this team – they pull me back in. Finally the defense showed up for once, and Russ did Russ things. It looks like the Seahawks will have competition for the division crown with the LA Rams starting to hit their stride. Seattle was able to take care of business against the Cardinals in a 28-21 Thursday Night victory.

6. Los Angeles Rams (7-3)

Week 11 Ranking: 11

I love this team, and they proved me right on Monday Night when they beat the favored Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-24. Their defensive play was very solid as usual – and they showed why they’re the No.1 Defense in the NFC. Jared Goff put in a good performance that was a bit overshadowed by his two interceptions. Turnovers aside, the Rams are back and ready to compete for the NFC crown.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-4)

Week 11 Ranking: 5

All of my concerns about this team continued to show out on Monday Night. Inconsistent play on offense, and the defense wasn’t what the media likes to portray them as. I had the Rams winning a close game against the Bucs, and that turned out to be true. I don’t think Tom Brady is enough to get this team over the hump – but they are still real contenders in the NFC and in my top 10 in our NFL Power Rankings.

8. Green Bay Packers (7-3)

Week 11 Ranking: 6

The Green Bay Packers are what we thought they were. If everything is comfortable and easy, they win. If everything is somewhat of a challenge or difficult, they fold. Story of Aaron Rodgers’ career so far. I don’t see Green Bay coming out on top in the NFC, they will all but surely win their division but that is it.

9. Indianapolis Colts (7-3)

Week 11 Ranking: 15

A big win against the Green Bay Packers propels the Colts to No.9 this week. Their defense held Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFluer to only 3 points in the second half and overtime. The Colts were dynamic on offense in the second half and it was a statement of intent win. Big props to Chris Ballard for the team he’s building.

10. Cleveland Browns (7-3)

Week 11 Ranking: 12

The formula for this football team continue to pay dividends. Run Nick Chubb and hit some key third down passes and you’ll win the game. Cleveland is forreal, now they may not be Super Bowl contenders, but this formula – similar to the Titans can cause teams lots of problems in the Playoffs. As long as Baker stays on cue, and doesn’t shoot the team in the foot – the Browns are a good football team!

11. Tennessee Titans (7-3)

Week 11 Ranking: 14

The Titans ran all over the Ravens – and it lead to a thrilling overtime win. This team’s model to win is simple, play good defense, protect the ball and feed the beast who is Derrick Henry. I like their chances to upset someone in the Playoffs, but that’s about it. I don’t think they’re truly Super Bowl contenders.

12. Baltimore Ravens (6-4)

Week 11 Ranking: 9

Lamar Jackson is not the Quarterback you think he is. If you can’t see it – I don’t know what to tell you. Poor footwork and to be honest, the league figured him out. It worked for a year – but teams have caught up to speed with Lamar and the Ravens. The Ravens are just not a complete team – many flaws and they have a chance to prove me wrong with a Thanksgiving matchup against the Steelers.

13. Arizona Cardinals (6-4)

Week 11 Ranking: 10

Arizona suffered a tough loss on Thursday Night against the Seattle Seahawks. This team is a bit inconsistent and has shown they can be “controlled” offensively. This really isn’t a team I have contending for the NFC crown, but they are good enough to give teams problems come Playoff time.

14. Miami Dolphins (6-4)

Week 11 Ranking: 7

The Miami Dolphins did a complete U-Turn on the Tua project, although he will remain the starter. I love what Brian Flores is doing – especially on defense. I just don’t trust this team on offense, a bad loss to a not-so-great Denver Broncos team hurts their stock big-time this week. Miami falls the farthest this week to No.14.

15. Las Vegas Raiders (6-4)

Week 11 Ranking: 13

There is no shame in losing to the best team in the NFL – especially after you beat them away earlier in the season. The Raiders fall down 2 spots – but should be very optimistic about the teams future with Jon Gruden.

16. Chicago Bears (5-5)

Week 11 Ranking: 20

I really don’t have high expectations for this team, maybe the bye-week gave Matt Nagy time to reflect and reset from his poor performances this season as Head Coach. The Bears defense is legit – but they must figure out the Quarterback situation.

17. Carolina Panthers (4-7)

Week 11 Ranking: 23

The Lions somehow managed to make P.J Walker look like a decent Quarterback. Walker did throw two really bad interceptions, but the Panthers defense managed to shutout the Lions so the turnovers were irrelevant. A 20-0 victory has them sitting at 4-7 – Matt Rhule is doing some good things in Carolina and Panthers fans should be excited.

18. Minnesota Vikings (4-6)

Week 11 Ranking: 17

I predicted a loss to the Dallas Cowboys – this loss didn’t really surprise me. This has been the Vikings this year – inconsistent and poor execution on defense. The Vikings fall to 18 in this weeks Power Rankings.

19. San Francisco 49ers (4-6)

Week 11 Ranking: 21

The 49ers were on a bye-week, and will most likely fall next week in the Power Rankings once they lose another game. The team has been demolished by injuries, and this will more than likely be the last week they’re in the Top 20.

20. New England Patriots (4-6)

Week 11 Ranking: 18

The Patriots missed out on a chance to improve to 5-5, which would have given them some hope of making the playoffs. It’s unlikely they win out, so barring a spectacular run – the Patriots will miss the playoffs for the first time since Matt Cassel was QB.

21. New York Giants (3-7)

Week 11 Ranking: 22

The Giants were on a bye-week, so nothing really changed since last week. They do move up a spot – but only because of how poor the teams ahead of them played on Sunday.

22. Denver Broncos (4-6)

Week 11 Ranking: 26

Drew Lock early on looked like he would continue his reckless ways, but after the early interception he was able to clean up his game and help the Broncos to an upset victory versus the Miami Dolphins.

23. Detroit Lions (4-6)

Week 11 Ranking: 18

Another bad loss – what else is new under Matt Patricia? The Detroit Lions were shutout for the first time in the Matthew Stafford ERA, the first time since October 18th, 2009. The Lions host the Texans on Thanksgiving, and more than likely will fall to 4-7.

24. Houston Texans (3-7)

Week 11 Ranking: 27

A vintage DeShaun Watson performance led the way as the Houston Texans were able to beat the New England Patriots 27-20. Though the season may be over, the Texans are playing with heart and will be a tough out for the remainder of the season. With the Lions coming up next – they’ll likely be favorites to improve to 4-7.

25. Philadelphia Eagles (3-6-1)

Week 11 Ranking: 19

Carson Wentz has fell off a cliff. His game has regressed significantly – and it may be time to bench him. The Eagles play in the worst division in the NFL, so somehow, someway, they can still recover and clinch a Home Playoff game.

26. Los Angeles Chargers (3-7)

Week 11 Ranking: 28

The Chargers almost blew a big lead against the New York Jets, having said that – Justin Herbert looks like the real deal. He’s the first rookie in NFL history to throw for 2 TD’s or more in seven consecutive games. Future is bright in LA.

27. Atlanta Falcons (3-7)

Week 11 Ranking: 24

A bad loss against the Saints put the nail in the Atlanta Falcons recovery project. This team needs a complete rebuild – with aging assets and long-term commitments. Best of luck Atlanta.

28. Dallas Cowboys (3-7)

Week 11 Ranking: 31

I had Dallas beating the Vikings for a number of reasons – the biggest takeaway from their victory was that they had a gameplan going in that was sustainable. The Cowboys ran the ball very well, Zek looked fresh and the defense made plays when they needed to.

29. Washington Football Team (3-8)

Week 11 Ranking: 29

A good win against the Bengals – It was nice to see Alex Smith win his first football game in over two years. This team is showing signs of “very good” football on the defensive side of the ball, but they need a long-term solution at Quarterback.

30. Cincinnati Bengals (2-7-1)

Week 11 Ranking: 25

Joe Burrow tore his ACL and MCL on Sunday – which marks the end of the next two seasons for the Bengals. They fall down to 30 and will most likely stay there for the rest of the season, as I don’t see them winning another game.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9)

Week 11 Ranking: 30

The Jaguars were beaten badly by the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers – which leaves them at 1-9 and in pole position to compete for the Trevor Lawerence sweepstakes.

32. New York Jets (0-10)

Week 11 Ranking: 32

The Jets loss to the Los Angeles Chargers marked their 10th loss of their season. Will they go 0-16? We’ll wait and see.
