Following his amazing performance at UFC 255, Deiveson Figueiredo was probably shocked to discover he was not getting a bonus. Little did he know UFC President Dana White had a little surprise for him this week.

When it comes to dominant UFC fighters Deiveson Figueiredo is one to look out for. Not only is he on a 5 fight win streak but he is set to defend his belt TWICE in less than 3 weeks. After submitting Alex Perez at UFC 255 in less than 2 minutes, Figueiredo retained the UFC Flyweight belt. Hours after the fight it was announced that Figueiredo will defend his belt on December 12th against Brandon Moreno. Moreno also won at UFC 255 by submitting Brandon Royval with 1 second left to go in round 1.

Shockingly, Deiveson was NOT given a bonus for his performance at UFC 255. The champ did however receive a $50,000 cash bonus from Dana White for his fight and most likely a thank you for taking a championship fight on three weeks notice.
