The UFC returns to Miami for the first time in 20 years to host UFC 287. The main card is headlined by middleweights Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira.

Raul Rosas Jr. vs Christian Rodriguez

The main card of UFC 287 opens up with two electrifying bantamweight prospects.

Raul Rosas Jr. is an undefeated prospect (8-0) and is currently the youngest fighter in the UFC. Rosas is 18 years old and is coming into his fight after his round-one victory against Jay Perrin. This will only be Raul’s second fight in the UFC, but the young kid is looking to become a star.

Furthermore, Christian Rodriguez is also a prospect and is coming into this fight after a win over Joshua Weems. Rodriguez has a record of 8-1 and is looking to shut down the hype train of Raul Rosas Jr.

Kevin Holland vs Santiago Ponzinibbio

Exciting welterweights Kevin Holland and Santiago Ponzinibbio face off in the second fight of the night.

Santiago has a record of 30-6 and is coming off an impressive win against Alex Morono. An impressive win over Kevin Holland should bump the Argentinian into the top 15 rankings.

On the other hand, Kevin Holland is on a two-fight losing streak by way of finish. But Holland has never been scared of a fight and has been fighting the best since he entered the UFC. Holland is looking to crack the top 15 rankings as well, and a win over Ponzinibbio should help his case.

Rob Font vs Adrian Yanez

The potential fight of the night includes bantamweights Rob Font and Adrian Yanez.

Yanez is on an impressive five-fight win streak in the UFC and is taking on the challenge of Rob Font. The young prospect is looking to join the top 10 rankings in his stacked division.

On the other hand, Rob Font is on a two-fight losing streak against Chito Vera and Jose Aldo. The veteran has his eyes on shutting down the hype train and getting back to the win column.

Gilbert Burns vs Jorge Masvidal

The co-main event for UFC 287 includes welterweights Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns. Both fighters are extremely talented and are veterans of the UFC.

Although Jorge Masvidal has not won since 2019, he is still one of the biggest draws due to his flashy style. Jorge is looking to make another run for the title, and a win over Burns could help him get there quickly.

Gilbert Burns is coming off a dominant performance against Neil Magny. The Brazilian is also looking to fight for the title in the future if he defeats “Gamebred” Masvidal.

Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira

The main event for UFC 287 includes one of the greatest rivalries that has happened in the UFC. Middleweights Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya will face off in a rematch for middleweight gold.

Israel Adesanya has one of the best resumes in the UFC and is looking to get back what was taken from him. Izzy is looking to even out his record with Pereira in the UFC in hopes of a trilogy.

On the other hand, Alex Pereira has only been training in MMA for three years. He has a young record of 7-1 and defeated Adesanya last year to become the undisputed champion. Pereira has already defeated Adesanya twice in kickboxing and is looking to have a 2-0 record against Izzy in MMA.
