We’re approaching Week 15 in the NFL Season here at Woodward Sports, and you know what that means! Our Power Rankings are up!

1. Kansas City Chiefs (12-1)

Week 14 Ranking: 1

It was an ugly game – but the Chiefs still found a way to win against the Miami Dolphins. The Chiefs had every right to lose that game, but they didn’t. Mahomes looked really good and really bad – but it’s about time he threw some interceptions. The Chiefs are the defending champs and the team to beat, good luck pushing them out of the No.1 spot anytime soon in our NFL power rankings.

2. Buffalo Bills (10-3)

Week 14 Ranking: 2

The Buffalo Bills beatdown the Pittsburgh Steelers – flexing their contender muscle in what was a huge game for Josh Allen. Doug Marrone will be happy that his defense showed up – and if the Bills are able to replicate that complete performance, the Bills are probably the only team that can seriously contend with the Chiefs in the AFC. The Bills stay put at No.2 in our NFL power rankings.

3. Green Bay Packers (10-3)

Week 14 Ranking: 5

The Packers did what the Packers always do, beat the Detroit Lions. They’ll move into the Top 3 for the first time this year and I still don’t know whether to believe in this team or not. Aaron Rodgers has to be either 1 or 2 in the MVP conversation, and the team is just playing lights out football offensively. If they can be more consistent on defense this team should be the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

4. Los Angeles Rams (9-4)

Week 14 Ranking: 6

The Rams for me, are the most complete team in the NFC. A dominating 24-3 win against the Patriots on Thursday Night Football showed their defensive force – and silenced most critics when it comes to Jared Goff and his turnover issues. Sean McVay will have this team ready to make a push for a Super Bowl run, and I’m excited to watch it.

5. Seattle Seahawks (9-4)

Week 14 Ranking: 8

Seattle put together a dominating win against the awful Jets – but they showed glimpses of brilliance and I’m excited to see how they finish the season. Both the Seahawks and Rams are my favorite teams come playoff time in the NFC – and that very well could be the NFC Championship game.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-2)

Week 14 Ranking: 4

The Steelers are what I said they are. The first time they played against a good football team, they get ran off the field. Now, they are 11-2 so I don’t want this to turn into how right I am about the Steelers, but all I’m doing is pointing out serious flaws that are being ignored because of their impressive record. I remind you that last season we had these same talks about the Patriots when they were 8-0, then Lamar Jackson and company came into town and romped the Patriots, all but ending their season. The Steelers are not a complete team and it will continue to show from now till the playoffs finish. The Steelers fall to No.6 in my NFL power rankings.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-5)

Week 14 Ranking: 7

The Buccaneers came off their bye-week and showed up against the Minnesota Vikings. It wasn’t their best performance, but a performance where they were able to walk away with a win even though they didn’t play their best football.

8. New Orleans Saints (10-3)

Week 14 Ranking: 3

The Saints were my busts of the week. Yes they’re missing Drew Brees, but to put in that bad of a performance against the Eagles was damning. This team is barely a Top-10 team without Drew Brees, and if they seriously want to compete in the NFC come playoff time, they need their Quarterback back. Taysom Hill isn’t a franchise quarterback. The Saints took a big dip this week in the rankings with a bad loss, they fall 5 spots down to No.8 in our NFL power rankings.

9. Cleveland Browns (9-4)

Week 14 Ranking: 9

Baker showed up on Monday Night, and it was a very good sign if you’re a Browns fan. Having said that, the Browns did lose to the Ravens but showed me enough where I’ll keep them in my Top 10. The duo of Chubb and Hunt is a problem and will continue to be. The Browns should be able to give every team in the AFC problems with their run attack. The Browns will stay put at No.9 in our NFL power rankings even though they did lose to the Ravens.

10. Tennessee Titans (9-4)

Week 14 Ranking: 11

The Titans absolutely punished the Jaguars on Sunday, Derek Henry ran for over 200 yards again…and with the Detroit Lions coming up he may very well rush for more than that. The Titans are a scary team to play, especially if they get ahead early.

11. Indianapolis Colts (9-4)

Week 14 Ranking: 12

The Colts put together an impressive win against the Las Vegas Raiders in a 44-27 victory. The Colts can pose a threat to most teams in the AFC, but I believe Philip Rivers isn’t the answer and will ultimately hold them back from truly contending this season or in the future if they decide to keep him.

12. Miami Dolphins (8-5)

Week 14 Ranking: 10

The Miami Dolphins lost to the best team in the NFL – they’ll drop two spots only because of it. They were able to make Patrick Mahomes throw three interceptions (he had only 1 going into the game) but they couldn’t capitalize enough to take a big enough lead. The offense showed some bright spots, but nothing clear or consistent enough to make them a viable threat in the Playoffs. Miami falls out of the top 10, but they showed they can compete and give any offense problems – the Dolphins fall to No.12 in this weeks NFL power rankings.

13. Baltimore Ravens (8-5)

Week 14 Ranking: 13

Lamar Jackson put in a vintage MVP performance in what could have been the game of the year Monday Night against the Cleveland Browns. The game really did nothing for me though – the Ravens are not dynamic enough throwing the football to really make waves in the playoffs. Yes their rushing attack can be an issue, but key third down throws will haunt them in the future.

14. Arizona Cardinals (7-6)

Week 14 Ranking: 14

The Cardinals ended their 3-game losing streak by beating down the New York Giants in an impressive 26-7 victory. They’re in full control of the final Wild Card spot in the NFC and could pose a problem for most teams offensively with their dynamic ability. Arizona will stay put at No.14 in our NFL power rankings.

15. Las Vegas Raiders (7-6)

Week 14 Ranking: 15

The Raiders got whooped by the Indianapolis Colts – all but proving that they’ll never achieve anything significant under Jon Gruden unless they move off of Derek Carr. He is not the guy to take this team to the next level. It’s that simple.

16. Minnesota Vikings (6-7)

Week 14 Ranking: 16

The Vikings lost to a more complete football team in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I’m not going to slate them in my rankings, so they’ll stay put at No.16. Having said that, this team is still in the hunt for the final NFC Wild Card spot.

17. Washington Football Team (6-7)

Week 14 Ranking: 20

Ron Rivera and that Washington defense are a problem! The Football Team took care of business and took full control of the NFC East by beating the 49ers on Sunday. It’s their division to lose – but all signs point to this team hosting a playoff game.

18. Chicago Bears (6-7)

Week 14 Ranking: 22

The Bears put together their best performance of the season – they were 6 games late on doing it but nonetheless they did it. A 36-7 ass kicking of the Houston Texans gave the Bears hope that they could potentially fight for the last Wild Card spot.

19. New England Patriots (6-7)

Week 14 Ranking: 17

The Patriots got whooped on Thursday Night Football against one of my favorite teams this year, the Los Angeles Rams. A 24-3 beatdown had Bill Belichick benching Cam Newton again – but the Patriots have more problems than just the QB position. This is a bigger rebuild than we all thought, and Belichick can only carry this team with coaching for so long.

20. New York Giants (5-8)

Week 14 Ranking: 19

The Giants put together their worst performance of the season against the Cardinals this past weekend. It’s no shock that Daniel Jones is NOT a Franchise Quarterback – and that defense can only keep them in games for so long. Joe Judge has done some good things this year, but his Quarterback will ultimately be his downfall.

21. San Francisco 49ers (5-8)

Week 14 Ranking: 18

49ers are just too injured to really do anything on a consistent basis. They’ll finish the season playing hard, but they’re better off losing out and getting a top pick to position themselves to contend next year if healthy.

22. Denver Broncos (5-8)

Week 14 Ranking: 26

The Broncos beat the Panthers in what was a very entertaining games. Drew Lock put in a decent performance, and KJ Hamler caught two touchdowns. The Broncos have underperformed their own expectations this year.

23. Houston Texans (4-9)

Week 14 Ranking: 23

Houston got smacked around like a rag-doll against the Chicago Bears. They made Trubisky look like Joe Montana in his prime. Having said all that, the Texans need to make moves ASAP if they want to keep their franchise Quarterback happy.

24. Detroit Lions (5-8)

Week 14 Ranking: 21

Detroit put together a decent outing in a loss to the Green Bay Packers. Matthew Stafford exited late in the game with a rib injury – and his status is still up in the air for the game against Tennessee this week. The Lions have a tough remaining schedule and will be put to the test.

25. Philadelphia Eagles (4-8-1)

Week 14 Ranking: 27

Jalen Hurts led the Eagles to an upset win against the New Orleans Saints 24-21. Hurts doesn’t solve the Eagles long-term issue though, they still owe Wentz over $100 Million Dollars – so giving up on Wentz really doesn’t do anything for Philly.

26. Carolina Panthers (4-9)

Week 14 Ranking: 24

The Panthers lost, again. Matt Rhule signed up for a long-term project, and it’ll be another year to two years before this team can start showing progress in the win column. Is Teddy the answer? I’m not sold, but Matt Rhule could make it work with a more dynamic offense featuring a healthy Christian McCaffrey.

27. Los Angeles Chargers (4-9)

Week 14 Ranking: 28

Justin Herbert led the Chargers to victory on Sunday – and producing his first ever Game-Winning Drive. The Chargers are a team that could easily turn it around next year and be in the playoffs, but we’ll have to wait and see what they do at Head Coach with Anthony Lynn & address offseason needs.

28. Atlanta Falcons (4-9)

Week 14 Ranking: 25

The Falcons lost a close game to the Saints – and with the season all but over…it’s time to move on and rebuild this roster. Very similar to the Lions situation at Quarterback – the Falcons will need to decide soon what to do with Matt Ryan.

29. Dallas Cowboys (4-9)

Week 14 Ranking: 29

The Cowboys won! Congrats Cowboy fans, you’re still last in the division and you beat a very bad Bengals team.

30. Cincinnati Bengals (2-10-1)

Week 14 Ranking: 30

The Bengals were beaten badly by the Dallas Cowboys 30-7. There really isn’t more to say other than this team is missing their best player (Joe Burrow) nothing to play for other than a top 3 pick.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-12)

Week 14 Ranking: 31

The Jaguars will end up with either Trevor Lawerence or Justin Fields – no matter what they’ll be happy, but they’ll need to improve a lot more if they ever want to get back to an AFC Championship.

32. New York Jets (0-13)

Week 14 Ranking: 32

The Jets are 0-13. Will they join the Browns & Lions and finish 0-16?
