PS5 Execs Announce 10 PS4 Games That Won’t Be Backwards Compatible
The PlayStation 5 is set to hit shelves on November 12th, and from the sounds of it only 10 PS4 games will not be backwards compatible on the new console. With over 2900 games available for the PS4, that’s a fairly short list that I’m sure won’t upset too many gamers. Below is the current list of games that will not transfer to the new PS5…
DWVR, Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2, Just Deal With It!, Shadow Complex Remastered, Robinson: The Journey, We Sing, Hitman Go: Definitive Edition, Shadwen and Joe’s Diner.
It’s pretty impressive that Sony is making backwards compatibility available for 99.66 percent of PS4 games. Yes, I did the math…I’m kidding, I googled it. Looking at the list so far, I won’t miss any of the 10 that won’t convert over to the PS5.
More Details Regarding PS5 Backwards Compatibility Features
Both the Xbox Series X and The PlayStation 5 will feature new software that will help compatible games run more smoothly and/or have a higher frame rate. PlayStation confirmed earlier this year that you’ll also be able to use your PS VR setup for PS VR games. You’ll also be able to use your DualShock 4 controller, but only for PS4 games.
