Finally! During the first Summer Games Fest Livestream, FromSoftware’s elusive title Elden Ring graces our eyes! There have been plenty of rumors surrounding the reveal of the FromSoftware and George R. R. Martin project. So, it’s about time we get a look at the highly anticipated game from the Dark/Demon Souls developers. Check out the trailer below!

The trailer shows various forms of weaponry, armor, summoned mounts, and characters that – for now – remain nameless. Similarly, we don’t have many details about our overall mission.

FromSoftware has a talent for piecing together a grotesquely beautiful, bloody world. We are in for a hellish adventure with dangerous amalgamations of organic and inorganic material and a haunting medieval setting. The aesthetic falls right in line with FromSoftware’s goal to create a grim open-world game. We’ll embark as ‘The Tarnished,’ seeking the Elden Ring, but for what? Ambition? Is it to save the world? Will we use it to end the unending cycle of an apparent death and rebirth cycle that the Tarnished face?

Elden Ring releases January 21, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X|S.
