The 2023 NFL combine got underway this week, and it featured many great performances from players looking to boost their draft stock. Quarterbacks such as Will Levis and Anthony Richardson look to prove they can be franchise-changing picks.

One of the most anticipated stories of the NFL combine was the measurements of Alabama QB Bryce Young. They came in and he was immediately deemed undersized. His final measurements came in at five foot ten and 204 pounds. According to combine history, those measurements are the smallest since Kyler Murray in 2019. However, Young is still expected to be the first QB off the board come draft night.

There are many players who had a great combine and potentially changed the way this draft could go. Here are the guys who have left the biggest impressions on the combine so far

Florida QB Anthony Richardson

The biggest and most crucial performance from the combine has been none other than QB Anthony Richardson. Richardson is a crazy athlete who can make on-the-run throws and create space with his legs. At the combine, Ant set a combine record in the vertical jump with a 40.5-inch jump. Richardson also ran a 4.43 40 and a ten-foot nine-inch broad jump. Very impressive performance from him. However, questions still arise about his accuracy as a passer. He was shown missing receivers on corner and out routes.

Pitt DT Calijah Kancey

Kancey is another one of those guys that really boosted his draft stock. Kancey was a pivotal part of Pitts defense, but was never seen as a first-round prospect. However, after running a faster 40-yard dash than Aaron Donald and the best-ever time for a DT in combine history. He ran an official 4.67. Considering he weighs 281 pounds, that is a crazy run from him. After his combine, I expect a large boost in his stock for sure.

Michigan CB DJ Turner

This combine has been huge for DJ. Not only does he own the fastest time in the 40 at the combine among all positions, but he stood out in his athleticism. Measuring 5 foot 11, 178 pounds makes Turner is undersized. However, hos obvious athleticism and dedication will find him a nice home in the NFL. Turner was an all big ten selection for the Wolverines in 2022, and he will be a slot corner in the future.

Although the combine is full of many participants, these are some of the guys that stood out to me and that were overlooked coming into the combine.
