UFC Middleweight Mike Perry is once again in the media spotlight for all the wrong reasons. The 14-7 MMA fighter posted a disturbing IG video on Sunday showing off a nasty leg injury that has caused a lot of concern in the MMA world.

The UFC Needs To Step Up And Send Mike Perry To Rehab

After posting videos drinking on a boat, Mike Perry capped off the night by posting a disturbing video on his Instagram story. In the video Platinum can be seen laying on the ground in pool of his own blood. From the looks of the video it seems Perry kicked a glass door which caused a serious laceration on his leg. The video ended after Perry said “Fuck am I supposed to do about this?”

Platinum’s History Of Violence Outside Of The Octagon

Mike Perry clearly has an issue that needs to be worked out either through rehab or consoling. Sure, we don’t know exactly the cause of his latest injury, but I am going to assume it was fueled by alcohol. After attacking a man at a Texas restaurant in July, Platinum claimed he would be seeking treatment including substance and behavioral counseling. Although Mike’s personal life has been pretty quiet lately, Sunday proved he still needs to seek help. Sure, it’s crazy Mike Perry, but this is all very concerning.

Although we don’t know the entire story from Sunday’s incident, Perry showed himself drinking on a boat before cutting his leg. Platinum has a history of losing his shit when he drinks. Some fans also are concerned if it’s a CTE issue. Regardless of all the facts regarding the incident, the UFC needs to step up and help. Perry is an independent contractor, but he’s also a person that represents the company. After fighting with an old man in Texas in July and now this, someone needs to help Mike before it’s too late.
