Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier

Jon Is Still Taking Down To DC 6 Years After Their First Fight

Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier will go down in history as one of the greatest rivalries in UFC history. Jones is still doing his part to keep the feud going in some now deleted tweets.

Bones also tweeted “Don’t confuse a season with forever.” but later deleted the tweet. Truth be told I don’t think this feud will ever end, but Jon has to move on and focus on his new goal of becoming the UFC Heavyweight champ. Although the rivalry will always be there, Jones has a big task at hand with taking on the best of the best at Heavyweight.

Jones Has A New Goal…Take The UFC Heavyweight Division By Storm

Now that Bones has decided to leave the Light Heavyweight division behind his new goal is to become the Heavyweight king. After taking some jabs at DC, Jones decided to take aim at the Heavyweight division. After some speculated that Bones was dodging LHW champ Jan Blachowicz, Bones made it clear that he’s going after the Heavyweight strap. He also of course took digs at Adesanya and Dominick Reyes.

Although he’s a former champ in the LHW division, Jones needs to work his way up for the Heavyweight belt. Sure, he cleared out the 205 division, but that shouldn’t mean he automatically gets a shot at the belt. MMA fans know that Francis Ngannou deserves a shot at Stipe Miocic. Not only is 4 wins at Heavyweight impressive, but Ngannou is riding a 4 fight knockout streak as well. Jones can fight Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Curtis Blaydes, Derrick Lewis, or anyone else in the Top 10.
