UFC Middleweight Kelvin Gastelum Wants A Shot At Edmen Shahbazyan

Kelvin Gastelum is looking to make a return to the octagon after losing earlier this year to Jack Hermansson. The #8 ranked UFC fighter is 0-3 in his last three fights but wants to bounce back into the win column and has called out Edmen Shahbazyan. Shahbazyan is 11-1 in his MMA career with his only loss coming from Derek Brunson in August.

Shahbazyan Is A Huge Test For Gastelum

Coming off of losses from Adesanya, Till, and Hermanson, Gastelum has been put through the ringer in the Middleweight division. Although Gastelum is a top contender in the division, Shahbazyan won’t be a walk in the park. Edmen has only lost one of his 12 bouts in the UFC and it was from power striker Derek Brunson. Sure, Shahbazyan showed some holes in his game, but this is a do or die fight for both Middleweights. It will be interesting to see if this fight gets signed and how it will affect the Middleweight division.
