Detroit Lions re-sign DB Will Harris

More of the old gang is coming back to the Detroit Lions.

The team signed veteran cornerback Will Harris to a one-year deal on Thursday. It is believed to be worth $2.58 million but will only count $1,371,500 against the cap according to the Russell Street Report.

Harris is joining a deeper and more talented defensive backs room that includes newly signed Cam Sutton, who signed a three-year, $33 million deal and former San Francisco 49ers DB Emmanuel Mosely.

The veteran salary benefit allows the Lions to pay Harris a fully guaranteed contract on a one-year deal, but allows them to sign him to a more cap friendly deal.
