If you’re looking to install Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War when it drops on November 13th you might want to free up some hard drive space. The latest installment of the COD franchise is massive!
COD Black Ops Cold War Will Cost You 250GB OF HD Space
If you’re looking to download the latest COD installment you might want to delete last year’s COD to save some space. Activision and Treyarch released the spec requirements to install COD Cold War which includes needing at least 250GB of storage space. If you’re looking to play multiplayer you’ll need just 50GB of space. The 250GB install is for 4K resolution for PC while the standard HD release with the campaign, warzone, and multiplayer for Xbox and Playstation will run 175GB.
Although I understand that the games that are coming out now are so loaded with content and high definition graphics, 250GB of space is a lot of storage. If you’re looking to play COD and some other games on your PC you might want to upgrade that hard drive. 175GB is even a lot for consoles, so hopefully there’s some deals for portable hard drives this Black Friday. On November 13th I’ll be hosting a release party for COD Black Ops Cold War so follow Woodward Sports on social media for more details!
