The Philadelphia Flyers kept the Detroit Red Wings scoreless at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly. In his first start in goal for Detroit since December 8th, while facing numerous quality scoring chances from Philly, Alex Nedeljkovic looked sharp for the majority of the game. Despite managing 29 shots on goal, the Red Wings struggled to create any momentum offensively til late in the game and were unable to find a way past Flyers Goaltender Carter Hart. This loss also marks the end of a disappointing season series against the Flyers, with Detroit failing to win a single game in the three meetings between the two teams.

The Red Wings will return to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, where they will attempt to rebound against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.

It was the difference. Obviously, five on five, we had some looks. But we need a power play. It definitely let us down today. And when we did have looks he shut it down, you gotta give a credit to Hart today.”
