Anderson Silva will enter the octagon for the last time on Saturday at UFC Vegas 12. Here’s the breakdown of the card with Art.
Anderson Silva’s Last Fight In The Octagon Is 5 Years In The Making
UFC Vegas 12 will be the first card back in the states since the 5 week stint on Fight Island. This card is stacked with some great match ups and will highlight fighters on the roster to watch out for. Casual fans tend to not watch UFC cards that aren’t PPV or filled with notable names. This is one of those cards that you shouldn’t miss if you simply enjoy watching great fights.
Silva vs Hall is a match 5+ years in the making. Fans have been pleading with the UFC to make this fight happen for so long. Although I’d love to have seen this fight happen when both fighters were in their prime I’ll take what I can get. The Spider will have a tough fight against Hall on Saturday. I’m willing to bet big money it will be a match filled with lots of “spinning shit” as Nick Diaz would say. Regardless of how Silva’s last bout turns out on Saturday, the man is a living legend. It will be sad to see The Spider enter the octagon for the last time. Expect fireworks for Silva’s last fight in the UFC.
UFC Vegas 12 is filled with other intriguing fights as well. Holland’s fourth fight this year, Hernandez making his return after getting knocked out by Drew Dober, and Bryce Mitchell’s undefeated streak are all big talking points for this Saturday’s card. This is one of those cards that doesn’t look like much at first. After diving deep on the card you can see some key match ups and must wins for certain fights.
UFC Vegas 12: Hall vs. Silva prelims will start at 4pm EST on ESPN+ with the main card kicking off at 7pm EST.
