As the month of April begins, I felt it only makes sense to share my UFC Pound-for-Pound list. We kick this off at the top, with the living legend himself: Jon “Bones” Jones.
1. Jon Jones – Heavyweight Champion
After a three-year layoff, Jon Jones defeated Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 two minutes into the first round. Jones was ranked number ten on our previous list, but after a legendary performance, he returns to the number one spot on our UFC pound-for-pound list.

2. Islam Makhachev – Lightweight Champion
Although Islam has not fought since his victory against Alexander Volkanovski, He drops to the No. 2 spot after Jon Jones return. Moving forward, Makhachev could make a case to return as the pound-for-pound king with an impressive performance against a top-five lightweight contender.
3. Alexander Volkanovski – Featherweight Champion
It is no surprise that Alexander Volkanovski is rated so highly on this list. Volkanovski is one of the most dominant champions that the UFC has ever seen. Furthermore, after an impressive performance against Islam Makhachev, Volkanovski has proven that he can hang with the best of any weight class.
4. Leon Edwards – Welterweight Champion
Leon Edwards has cemented his place in the top five pound-for-pound list after he outclassed former champ Kamaru Usman in their trilogy. Edwards is now on an eleven-fight winning streak and has not lost since 2015 against Kamaru Usman.
