Edgar Not Chasing Bonuses But Instead Is Focusing On The Bantamweight Belt
Former UFC Lightweight champ Frankie Edgar talks about his upcoming fight against Cory Sandhagen, fighting at Bantamweight, his thoughts on McGregor, and more! Edgar is scheduled to fight Cory Sandhagen on February 6th in a fight that could very well be a title contender bout. Since making his pro MMA debut in 2005, Edgar has put together an impressive record of 24-8-1. Now at the age of 39 he’s fighting for a shot at the Bantamweight belt.
Frankie Will Go Down In MMA History As One Of The Toughest Fighters To Ever Step Foot In The Octagon
“The Answer” is one of the legends of MMA and it was a true honor to have him on the show. Although we don’t know if the Edgar vs Sandhagen fight will be a title contender fight it definitely should be. Regardless, the bout will be a barn burner and one you will not want to miss. The Bantamweight division is absolutely stacked right now. , If Sterling vs Yan aren’t going to fight for the title then something needs to be done to keep the division moving. Although I’m looking forward to Yan vs Sterling, I’d love to see Edgar get one more crack at UFC gold.
