The Detroit Red Wings ended their nine game losing streak against the Maple Leafs with their 4-1 win at LCA. Detroit hasn’t beaten Toronto in regulation since 2017. Their last win against Toronto was in OT, back in 2019 when Danny DeKeyser scored the game winning goal assisted by Andreas Athanasiou.

Red Wings Fabbri’ Looks Fantastic
Robby Fabbri scored his third goal in just his fourth game back in the lineup. Fabbri has been a huge boost offensively for Detroit since his return. For a team that as of late has struggled to find the back of the net, Robby’s comeback along with Tyler Bertuzzi is coming at much needed time.
Fabbri spoke about Red Wings finally beating the Maple Leafs “They’ve had our number this year.. they’re a good team, they’re a contender.. We’ve played them hard, but it feels good to be on the winning side of this one.”

3 Takeaways from Tonight’s Win
- Mo’ Seider and Jake Walman continue to look great together as a pair. I cannot see them being split any time soon.
- Ben Chiarot played fantastic games like tonight is why he was brought here. His aggressiveness and physicality was a difference maker.
- The Trio of Lucas Raymond, Dylan Larkin & Tyler Bertuzzi is back. The chemistry among these three will be a huge part of the Red Wings’ success for the rest of the season. Once Bertuzzi get’s back up to game speed, this line will be dangerous as ever.
Lucas Raymond now has 9 pts in the last 8 games (including tonight) AND 8 points in 7 career games vs. Toronto. 🔥🔥 #LGRW
