Red Wings – Kings Preview
Detroit looks to stay unbeaten as the Los Angeles Kings (1-2-0) come into LCA trying to tame a HOT Red Wings offense that will have a few different looks in the lineup tonight.
The Red Wings will be without star forward Tyler Bertuzzi for 4-6 weeks as he deals with an upper body injury.
Tonight in his place you will see Dominik Kubalik slot in on the first line alongside Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond. Filip Zadina will make his 2022 season debut as he will take the spot of Jakub Vrana who will miss tonight’s game due to personal reasons.
Los Angeles is coming into Detroit off a 7-6 win where they held back a comeback effort from the Minnesota Wild. Jonathan Quick will be in net tonight for the Kings, according to Zach Dooley of the Kings official site. He looks for his first win of the season as so far on the season as he is 0-2 with a 3.58 GAA. LA is tied with the Wild and San Jose for the most goals allowed in the Western Conference this season with 14. Detroit’s defense as well as goaltending will need to carry on the momentum from their first two wins to contain this Kings team tonight.
Tyler Bertuzzi (upper body) will be out 4-6 weeks. Jakub Vrana (personal reasons) will be unavailable tonight.

Gentry’s Skater To Watch
Dominik Kubalik will be my skater to watch tonight. Kubalik’s ability to score goals is clearly top tier. Tonight he will be playing alongside two fantastic playmakers in Larkin as well as Lucas Raymond.
This will be a different look for this line as Kubalik jumps in place of Tyler Bertuzzi. Dominik brings a whole another aspect as a goalscorer to this line. Bertuzzi although he can find the net has a grittier style of play.
Although we will miss the chemistry aspect of the first line with Bertuzzi, it will be interesting to see how Dominik takes advantage of the opportunity in front of him.
Top six will look like this tonight:
