We all know KJ Hamler for his speed and his quickness. Joe Haden of the Pittsburg Steelers learned about KJ’s Pontiac toughness last week.

In a video that is making its way around Twitter, Denver Broncos Rookie WR, KJ Hamler is laying out Pittsburg Steelers defender Joe Hayden. It looks like Hamler just throws the NFL player to the ground with one hand. Prompting Joe to say “Woah………. DAMN!!” For Hamler only being 5’8″ 178lbs, “Woah…..Damn” is right! Pontiac should be proud of this hit.

KJ Hamler came into the league a speed guy. He foot work is incredible. Now you have to look out for his strength.

Hamler is a Pontiac native and played his High School Football at Orchard Lake St Mary’s. KJ Made his NFL debut last weekend where he hauled in 3 passes for 46 yards. With Courtland Sutton out for the rest of the season Hamler’s role should see a major uptick.

It’s always fun to root for local guys. I am for sure rooting for KJ Hamler to be a break out NFL player. Along with fellow OLSM Alum Rookie Van Jefferson there is a lot of local pride in the NFL!
