Andrew Copp talked about the win, meanwhile what Red Wings’ recipe for the success has been as of late
“I think we’re understanding how to play the game. When we get leads, we’re playing pretty mature. We’re not you know forcing players in the middle, we’re not getting too many guys up in the rush. We’re playing pretty solid right now. I think we gotta be really strong defensively, special teams have been rolling pretty good. and then this guy, and he been pretty good too (Ville Husso). I think our recipe is really being hard to play against, not giving a lot of time and space. And I think we’re finding our recipe, which is important this time of year.”

Coaches Comments
After the game, Head Coach Derek Lalonde spoke about the importance of contributions from everyone in the team to their recent success: “Yeah I mean, you go on a run like this, when you continually find ways to win. You’re usually getting contributions from everyone. And that’s been the case. So it was a really good win. We beat a really good team at home coming off a trip like that. There were certainly some positives”.
