Francis Ngannou took to twitter to make it clear that Jon Jones needs to work his way up the UFC Heavyweight ladder. Ngannou thinks he is next for a title shot.
Jones left the Light Heavyweight division on August 18th and vacated the LHW belt. Now, MMA fans have been wondering who is Jones going to fight first? Ngannou? Stipe? Will he get an immediate title fight or will a super fight with Brock Lesnar be his first test? From the looks of the video below, Jones looks like his taking his training for the new division very seriously…
Francis Ngannou Needs His Rematch With Stipe.
Ngannou (who defeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 251 in 20 seconds) has hat quite the run lately. He’s not only on a 4 fight win streak, but he’s finished all 4 of his last oppoents. Of course, we can’t forget about the Derrick Lewis fight, but that was 2+ years ago and from the looks of it Ngannou has learned his lesson from that snoozefest. With noteable wins since over JDS, Cain Velasquez, and Curtis Blaydes, the only next fight that makes sense is a title fight against Stipe.
