“Ended up tapping on this guy’s driver side window with the muzzle of my shotgun” – Jon Jones
Former UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones had quite the eventful weekend. The 26-1 fighter chased a burglar off of his property with a shotgun and posted the footage on his Instagram on Sunday. I think it’s safe to say the burglar is lucky things didn’t go south. Jones could’ve easily defended his property by shooting the man, but stated he knew better than to shoot someone while they were retreating.
Ended up tapping on this guys driver side window with the muzzle of my shotgun last night. Next time you try to rob someone, make sure you’re fast enough to out run them. He’s lucky I’m smart enough to not shoot a man while he’s retreating. People I know times are getting hard but your life isn’t worth a few material possessions. What are your thoughts on this video, what would you have done differently?

The burglar walked on Jones’ property and opened his car door. Shortly after Jones can be seen on video opening his garage door and chasing the suspect on foot wielding a shotgun. Jones chased the suspect to his car where he tapped on the window with the muzzle of his shotgun. Jones didn’t go into detail on if the cops were called, but I’m willing to bet the burglar deeply regretted his decision after realizing it was the former champ chasing him down.
