Donovan Edwards apologized multiple times on Thursday. The University of Michigan RB claims he “accidentally” retweeted an anti-Semitic video of  Kanye West.

On Thursday, the Michigan RB retweeted a video of Kanye speaking on a podcast.  He has since deleted the retweet.

As you see above his excuse was it was a “glitch”.  I think we can all see through that.  So some accountability is missing from Edwards.  Just admit you retweeted it and apologize.  Excuses come off as fake and hollow.

Edwards is however receiving support from University of Michigan regents. But even in Jordan Acker’s tweet, he clearly overlooks the fake excuse of the “glitch” by calling it “a mistake”

You hate to see any type of negative press leading into one of the biggest rivalry games of the year. Michigan vs Michigan State is going to be a wild night in Ann Arbor.

It has not been addressed by Jim Harbaugh on if this incident will effect Donovan’s playing time.

To me, Edwards is the best running back on the team. I’ve been high on him since his days at West Bloomfield. It’s surprising after graduating from a diverse high school he would still make this error. Or, excuse me, “glitch”.

Michigan and Michigan State will play Saturday night at 7p.
