Flint native and 2-Time WBC champ Anthony Dirrell hosted the 4th annual Turkey Drop on Sunday. The event was a success with 200 turkeys to those in need.
When it comes to people who represent their city no one does it better than Anthony Dirrell. Over the years Anthony has donated his time and money helping those in his city. Flint is known in the media as the city with lead in their water and high homicide rates, but Dirrell is doing his part to help showcase the good in the city. Flint is a city filled with culture and diversity, and Anthony is proof that hard times build better people.
Dirrell hosted the 4th annual Anthony Dirrell Turkey Drop on Sunday off of Dayton Avenue in Flint. This year, Anthony and his family came together to donate 200 turkeys just in time for thanksgiving. The event grows every year, and the demand for turkeys was huge this year considering the pandemic. Dirrell has big plans when it comes to his boxing career and is planning on a return to the ring in 2021. Dirrell talked to Art from the Art Of Combat Podcast last week about his plans for 2021 and more. Click here to check out the interview.
