The Detroit Lions will face the New England Patriots in Gillette Stadium today at 1pm.  Both teams are looking to snap a two-game losing streak and avoid a 1-4 start to the season.

This will be an interesting matchup as both teams are severely riddled with injuries.  The Patriots are even down to their third-string Quarterback, Bailey Zappe.  Despite taking over last week, this will be Zappe’s first career start.  The Detroit Lions, on the other hand, are still waiting to see if Amon-Ra St. Brown will take the field after missing last week’s game.

The Lions have made some changes on the defensive side of the ball after a horrendous performance verse the Seattle Seahawks.  They will put those changes into effect Sunday in hopes to grasp the win in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
