Dana White announced on his Twitter on Wednesday that the former security guard for Best Buy is now a full time UFC employee.

Dana White back at it again making dreams come true.

Summer Tapasa was fired from her job at Best Buy in December 2019 for shoving a shoplifter. The thief was attempting to steal a TV, but Tapasa wasn’t having it. Dana White found out about the incident and invited Tapasa to Vegas to watch UFC 246 live. Pretty awesome move by the UFC President, but it gets even better…

After UFC 246, Dana officially offered her job as a security officer for the UFC. She has accepted the position and is now on the team!

“I brought her out to Vegas. I offered her a job here. She went back to Hawaii, she weighed all her options and she decided to work for UFC. She is now a UFC employee.

It’s crazy to think that one incident can change everything in your life. That’s exactly what happened to Summer Tapasa. She went from losing her job to actually DOING her job to getting a full time gig in the UFC. This is proof to trust the process in life. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
