BKFC Joins Long List Of Organizations Not Willing To Sign Anderson Silva
BKFC is now added to the long list of fighting organizations that have no interest in signing Anderson Silva. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship President David Feldman told BJPenn.com that the company has no plans to sign The Spider…
“At this time we are not interested in Anderson Silva competing for BKFC. He’s a legend and I loved watching him fight. We need to concentrate on building our fighters already signed to BKFC”

Silva Feels Free After Attempt To “Force Retirement”
After losing to Uriah Hall via 4th round TKO, Silva retired from MMA. Although during the post fight interview Anderson seemed unsure if he was going to hang up the gloves, shortly after the UFC legend announced his retirement. UFC President Dana White made a promise to the media and fans during a post fight press conference that he would never sign Silva again. White released Silva from his contract and Silva seems to be on the road to living a free life. The Spider released another statement via Instagram regarding his retirement on Wednesday…
“Hey everyone I didn’t want to talk about this subject, especially because I’m on vacation and as the saying goes, “a deal is a deal” I’ll make it clear to all my fans that this is a moment of joy and gratitude!!! I feel free, after an attempt to force my retirement!”
Anderson Silva
Silva is 1-7 in his last 8 fights and it’s for the best for him to enjoy his vacation and time with his family. Although I’d love to see The Spider fight forever, it makes zero sense for him continue in a sport that has passed him by. It’s devastating to see someone the MMA world considers a legend fall, but the sport must move on.
