Former Detroit Piston Ben Gordon was arrested at a McDonald’s after he allegedly hit a 29 year old security guard in the face and then threw him to the ground.  He also allegedly pushed a second man to the ground.

Ben Gordon, 39, is charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery. His first court date is slated for next month.

There is no clear reason for the cause of the fight. This tweet suggest it was over wearing a Kanye shirt and a OVO jacket.  I guess the truth will come out at the hearing.

Needless to say things are not looking great for Ben. You always have to wonder how these NBA players who make millions wind up like this.  I hope he can get it all together again.

Ben Gordon singed with the Detroit Pistons in 2009.  It was a 5 year deal worth 55 million dollars.  He was brought in with Charlie Charlie Villanueva to help get Detroit back to its winning ways.  The move is looked at as a blemish on Joe Dumars record as neither player turned out to be the All-Star caliber Dumars envisioned.
