Former UFC Heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar is now a part of the UFC 4 roster! EA Vancouver announced on Thursday along with special Halloween-themed in-game skins that can be added to your custom fighter. EA also announced that UFC 4 will be available for free through October 25th. Lesnar will be a free playable fighter on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store through October 30th.
Adding Lesnar = Potential Return To The UFC?
If you’re thinking “OH MY GOD IS BROCK COMING BACK TO THE UFC?!” just because he was added to the roster don’t get too excited. I hate to break it to you but it’s not happening. UFC has rights to Lesnar’s name and are trying to push for more fans to buy UFC 4. Offering the game for free for a limited time might be just the push UFC 4 needs to get some extra buys.
The UFC is all about adding Brock, but what about the talented UFC fighters that are currently in the organization that haven’t been added? Yes, I know, Brock Lesnar is a huge name so it makes sense for the UFC to make a big deal about adding Brock, but what about showcasing the fighters that are active? With the addition of Brock Lesnar, the UFC also added Jennifer Maia and Askar Askarov. Where is Kai Kara-France, Marvin Vettori, or Clavin Kattar?!
