Eric Ebron and Detroit have had an interesting relationship since he was drafted by the Lions in 2014. He has taken shots at the fans on twitter, the fans have taken shots at him.
This time around Ebron showed some love for the new culture that Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell are building in Detroit.
After the signing of C.J. Gardner-Johnson was announced Ebron hopped on twitter to give Detroit a compliment.
“Enjoy Detroit my brudda, the team and organization in a WAY BETTER place now. I can not wait to see what u do yung legend” Ebron wrote.

This may not seem like a big deal for most. I mean, honestly it’s Eric Ebron. But looking at it in a bigger scope and combined with the tone about Detroit from other players in the league. Its just another example of how even the most hated ex-Lions players can separate the Same Old Lions with the BRAND NEW LIONS.
The tide has turned for Detroit. The strong finish last year has put the league on notice. The Detroit Lions are a desirable landing spot. When have you ever been able to say that without snickering?
