D’Andre Swift, who was listed as questionable, will be playing today against the Packers. Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reported the news late last night.
Lions’ RB D’Andre Swift, listed as questionable for Sunday due to shoulder and ankle injuries, is expected to play vs. the Packers, but in a limited role like last week, per source. Lions are trying to manage Swift’s snaps to get the most out of him.

Similar to last week, Swift will be in a limited role, according to the source. In last week’s loss to the Dolphins, Swift played in about 55% of the snaps. He only rushed for six yards on five carries, however, he caught all five of the targets that were thrown to him for 27 yards and a touchdown. For his career, in four games against the Packers, he has averaged 6.8 yards.
In other Lions news, brothers Brandon and Shane Zylstra were elevated from the practice squad for today’s game. Brandon, a receiver, has played for the Vikings and the Panthers in the past. Shane, a tight end, was just resigned to the practice squad back on October 4th.
The Lions elevated WR Brandon Zylstra and his younger brother TE Shane Zylstra from the practice squad for tomorrow's game against the Packers.
Will be an awesome moment for them to be on an NFL field together tomorrow.
