What are the chances Saddiq Bey does it?
In today’s NBA, the three-point shot has changed the way the game is now played. With Saddiq Bey being ranked 13th all-time in Pistons history, having 386 total 3-pointers made through 158 games in just two seasons so it doesn’t sound unreasonable. To say Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has 479 total 3-pointers made through four seasons puts things into perspective, especially when he sits 7th all-time in Pistons history.
Assuming Saddiq will become even more consistent as he grows and hopefully stays in Detroit a long time, there isn’t a doubt he will surpass Joe Dumars for the #1 spot. Joe Dumars made 990 total three-pointers in 14 seasons, which shows how much more the three-point line has been utilized throughout the years.
