The 2022-2023 season is crucial for the Detroit Lions. They will be in year two of the Brad Holmes-Dan Campbell regime, and the duo have put in the work to improve their team in various aspects this offseason. In terms of a Lions record prediction, many media personalities have called for the Lions to have a good season.
Regressing is not an option, as the Lions are expected to have a healthy and improved squad going into the season. The current roster is shaping up to be a relatively competitive one. They will be a pesky team to face, as they proved last year. Hopefully, many of those close games edge in their favor, resulting in a season fans can be happy with.
Many people do not expect the Lions to win the division or even finish the season over .500. However, I personally believe the realm of possibilities for this team is vast. I can just as easily say the Lions will finish 5-12 as they will 10-7. I would not be surprised with either outcome.
To get a sense of how other Lions fans were feeling, I took the opportunity to ask the Woodward Sports staff for their record predictions, as well as who they thought would be the team MVP.

While these predictions are scattered across the board, the general consensus among the staff is that the Lions will be a middle-of-the-pack team in 2022. No one was bold enough to make an outrageous prediction, which goes to show that not all of us in the office are drunk on Kool-Aid. Let us know your Lions record prediction, and who you think will be the team MVP!
