The Detroit Lions claimed their third loss on Sunday to the Seattle Seahawks 48 to 45. The team now sits at 1-3 heading into Week 5.
While offensively they were severely injured, it was the defense that was the problem. Dan Campbell spoke on the lackluster performance after the game.
“Not a real good performance, which falls on me. That was a – we weren’t real sharp, it wasn’t real clean, we had penalties, we had turnovers, one of those was for seven points which was the difference in the game. And then, defensively, man, we weren’t good.”
TJ Hockenson and Jamaal Williams showed up for the team combining for 288 yards and 4 touchdowns. Malcolm Rodriguez also showed out with 10 tackles, a forced fumble and a TFL.
63,920 fans were in attendance at Ford Field. The cheers and chants shifted back and forth from roaring encouragement to echoing boos.
