The Detroit Lions claimed their fourth loss on Sunday to the New England Patriots 29-0. The team now sits at 1-4 heading into their bye week.
Nothing seemed to work for the Detroit Lions today. Dan Campbell spoke on the horrendous performance after the game.
“To me this is about as bad as it gets… I believe we hit rock bottom, so now the only place to go is back up.”
Jared Goff took the brunt of the hits in this game, but the injuries came on the defensive side of the ball. Five defensive backs were injured in the game, including Saivion Smith, who was taken to the hospital with a neck injury.
The Lions offense got completely shut down. They made it into Patriots territory 5 times and scored zero times. Not to mention, they were zero for six today on fourth-down conversions.
A plethora of Lions fans took to Twitter after the game. Here are a handful of reactions to the Lions’ 29 to 0 loss to the New England Patriots:
Do not let the Detroit Lions ruin your day. The apple orchards now have wine and beer. You good.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly for the Lions:
The good: Nothing, absolutely nothing
The bad: Everyone
The ugly: Everything

I feel stuck in an abusive relationship with the Lions. But I love them. Maybe if I love them enough I can change them. #OnePride
