On the debut episode of Baligian and Bell, Detroit Pistons general manager Troy Weaver talked Pistons basketball, and more. He also mentioned who he thinks is the GOAT in the NBA.

Troy Weaver is making himself a household name in the city of Detroit quickly.

And his choices for his top-five players in NBA history surely will keep the momentum behind him going.

On Baligian and Bell, Weaver made an appearance to discuss several topics. Of course, most of the discussion centered around the Detroit Pistons. In less than a year, Weaver has already changed the landscape of the franchise’s future.

However, the true eyebrow-raiser of the nearly 20-minute discussion came when the crew talked to Weaver about his top-five NBA players ever. Bell asked Weaver if Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has entered his top-five players of all-time yet.

After having a quick chuckle at the question, Weaver gave in and answered.

“He’s won one more championship than Bird, so yeah, he’s moved into the top-five”, said Weaver.

Baligian would not let Weaver off the hook so easy, asking Weaver to name his top-five players all-time.

And he obliged.

“Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at [the] center, Power forward [is] Tim Duncan, LeBron [James] with his fourth championship moved ahead of Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, and Earvin “Magic” Johnson”, offered Weaver.

It didn’t stop there either.

Bell then asked Weaver who is his number one all-time, Weaver gave the nod to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
