The Detroit Lions look to extend their three-game winning streak verse the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field in their annual Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday. The Woodward Sports Network staff picks who they think will win ahead of the Week 12 matchup.
It will be quite a test for the Lions against a 7-3, dominant Bills team. The Bills played their last game at Ford Field on Sunday due to a snow apocalypse in Buffalo last weekend. They brought in a huge crowd despite the travel arrangements, and today is expected to be no different. The crowd is expected to exceed 66,000 people, which would be the second-largest crowd in Ford Field history.
Detroit is without Charles Harris, Josh Paschal, Evan Brown, Jonah Jackson, Jeff Okudah, and potentially Josh Reynolds due to injury. The Bills are also facing a few injuries and will be without LB Tremaine Edmunds, DE Greg Rousseau, and most likely without DE A.J. Epenesa.
Kick-off at Ford Field is set for 12:30pm ET.
