Monday’s episode of Ermanni and Edwards featuring Maz had one take that stood out above all. Here’s the transcript below the video:

Ryan: Hot take! Hot Take alert! 

Ryan: You ready baby?

Braylon: We’re ready, brother.

Ryan: The Tampa Bay Bucs are not only going to win tonight, okay? This is how this is going to go. Tampa Bay’s going to win tonight. They will go to San Francisco next week. There is no way on God’s green earth that Tom Brady is losing in San Francisco to Brock Purdy in his hometown before his hometown fans twice in one year.

Tampa Bay will beat San Francisco next week as well.

Maz: Oh, by the way, you mean mad. You mean in the Madden video game?

Ryan: The New York football giants are in no way, shape, or form going to lose to the Philadelphia Eagles for a third time this year. That I like. It is extremely difficult for a team to beat another team three times in one year.

We’ve seen it happen now over the last couple of days, but it will not happen in Philly. Next week. So you’ll have the Tampa Bay Bucs hosting the New York Football Giants in the NFC Championship game with the Tampa Bay Bucks, winning the NFC and going to yet another Super Bowl. You wanna place a bet?

Book that one right now, my friends. The Bucs are going to be the NFC champs and that’s your roadmap. Book it!

Braylon’s follow up was good as he understands Ryan’s logic.

Don’t get mad at me on this one. The problem I have with trying to negate what seems like Idiocracy. I’m struggling , and here’s why. And here’s why. What have I said all year?  You can’t trust the Cowboys. You cannot trust Dak Prescott, the Vikings. And he’s, well, I’m saying like this, this particular team, okay, you can’t trust Dak Prescott.

You can’t trust the Cowboys. The cowboys will cowboy every year. I mean, that debacle at the end of the game last year against the 49ers was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. So now you got this same team in Tampa against the goat. I can’t fault Ryan for saying that they’re going to be, this is Dallas.

Now you go to Philly and New York. I can’t argue that logic. I just sat up here and said an hour ago, it’s tough to beat the team three times in a row. It is. That’s been proven. I can’t argue that logic. And then if he so happens to, if he’s right, the Giants win and they have to go down to Tampa. I damn sure I’m not taking Daniel Jones over Tampa  Tom. Who’s proven that he can do it. Because if he gets to this point, there are two playoff wins, and he’s hosting the Giants with Daniel Jones. I’m not picking the giants over that. So as much as I want to rip that to shreds, there’s a lot of, there’s a lot of truth in what he says. So I don’t know if that’s going to happen.

But I can see it happen. I’m still not going with that to happen.
