Wings’ Selling?
For the second half of this NHL season the Detroit Red Wings have drastically underperformed compared to their start of the season. Showing many signs of weaknesses such as defense, goaltending and ultimately the growing pains of a young team. With recent struggles this team has been battling leaves us all wondering who is safe come deadline? What move’s will Yzerman make? Should we expect a splash?
This morning in Seattle, Tyler Bertuzzi made it clear that he wants to remain with the #RedWings. #LGRW@tylerbertuzzi pic.twitter.com/b62nJ1FM4H

Bertuzzi’ Days Numbered?!
Rumors have been spiraling around that Wings Star Tyler Bertuzzi has been on the trade market. Both the penguins and Islanders have reportedly showed interest in the forward. However with trade talks going around Bert has recently announced that he would like to stay in Detroit. Unfortunately that decision is up to Steve Yzerman does he see Tyler Bertuzzi in the future of this team? Does him not being able to play in Canada have any affect on him returning to Detroit? Should be interesting to see how this unfolds.
“Everyone is Available”
Recent reports have also emerged that everyone is available on the Red Wings Roster besides rookies Moritz Seider and Lucas Raymond. Which brought some commotion to why Captain Dylan Larkin wasn’t among those mentioned. Although Larkin was not brought up to be labeled “Safe” by the team. I don’t expect the 2x all star to be moved or even entertained in a deal as he is on pace to have his best season and is turning into the leader we all had hoped for. With all this being said, I am intrigued to see what Yzerman has up his sleeve and how this will deadline pan out for Detroit.
