The Detroit Lions have officially welcomed their two new members to Detroit.
Benito Jones and Nate Sudfeld made their way onto the practice field today for Detroit. The two practiced with the team and they have already melted right in. For Jones, 40 up-downs was his initiation to join the team, while Sudfeld made it out up-down free.
Nate Sudfeld was thankful he didn’t have an initiation, “Maybe don’t bring it up to them, I’m not really trying to do up downs.” He jokingly added, “I think they take care of quarterbacks arms a little bit so I appreciate that.”

The only familiar face for Benito Jones in the locker room was Isaiah Buggs. The two played against each other in college.
Sudfeld, on the other hand, said, “I have a lot of familiarity with some of the guys. Antwaan Randle El was a former Indiana Hoosier, so Hoosier quarterbacks representing out here. And then obviously I was with Duce Staley in Philadelphia and we had a lot of success, won a super bowl and stuff so that was awesome.”
