The beef that will never end just took another turn. Isiah Thomas was on Abhi Dabi NBA games to the Greek NBA rights holder COSMOTE TV, he doubled down on his dislike for Jordan.
Thomas was asked about the Jordan Docu-series The Last Dance. He had some interesting observations.
“When I was watching the “last dance”, I’m seating there and I’m watching it with my family and I’m thinking everything is good. And then this guy comes on television and he says that he hates me and then he calls me an asshole. And then I proceed to watch a whole documentary about him being an asshole. I’m like wait a minute, time out. Until I get a public apology, this beef is gonna go on for a long long time, cause I’m from the west side of Chicago”.

I actually gained a little respect for Michael Jordan during The Last Dance. He did admit that we would never have been the player he was without running into Bad Boys. That was the first time I had ever heard Jordan give credit to Detroit.
But it appears Isiah did not have the same takeaway as I did. Can you blame him? Jordan singlehandily kept Isiah Thomas off the Dream Team. You know that has to sting to this day.
Isiah was far and away the best PG of that generation. There is really no discussion. Who are you going to argue? John Stockton? That’s laughable considering that Isiah built in Detroit. He took a struggling franchise on his back and made the Back to Back World Champions. And I’m not even including the B.S. Phantom Foul on Bill Laimbeer that should have resulted in the Pistons 3-Peat!
You can understand why Isiah Thomas still thinks Michael Jordan is an “asshole”
