I’m tired of Killian Hayes.
The man can’t play. The man can’t stay.
The Pistons should send him to the Motor City Cruise to see if he can become an NBA player.
Hayes is helping the Pistons secure the number one pick after the season.
I would say trade Hayes. But who wants him?
Maybe, General Manager Troy Weaver doesn’t want to admit he wasted the number seven pick on Hayes in the 2020 draft. Many Piston fans were screaming for Iowa State guard Tyrese Haliburton, who averages 23 points and 10.3 assists with Sacramento.
Let’s look at another Tyrese. How would Tyrese Maxey, who just buried Toronto with 44 points, look in a Pistons uniform?
Killian Hayes is Weaver’s Darko.
It might take Hayes a month to score 44 points. Currently, he averages 2.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists. In other words, Hayes is good for a triple single every night. Believe it or not, those are not his worst numbers. How does 16.7 percent shooting hit you? Or 15.4 percent shooting from three?
“I’ve got a lot to learn,” Hayes said. “It’s watching film and asking questions.”
“Oh he will learn,” said Pistons coach Dwane Casey said.
Let him learn at Wayne State where the Cruise play. Let him ask questions to Cruise head coach D.J. Bakker.
The man doesn’t belong in a Pistons uniform. He doesn’t belong on the floor.
The guy has been a bust with the Pistons. Enough is enough.
