Following the Jerami Grant trade, many Pistons fans were worried with the 2022 NBA Draft approaching. Troy Weaver stayed the course and was able to pick Jaden Ivey 5th overall and Jalen Duren 13th overall. Jaden and Jalen were players that Troy Weaver wanted to end up with when the draft was over, and he got his wish. The Detroit Pistons ended with the best guard in the draft at the 5th pick, and the second-best center coming into the draft at the 13th pick. Many people had Jalen Duren projected in the top-10 and didn’t expect him to be there at 13.
